Specialized teams of Night's Watch Builders are capable of constructing mobile Stone Throwers directly on the battlefield. These machines shouldn't be called catapults, as they are much smaller and, unlike catapults, can only hurl stones. However, their operating principle is similar. A well-trained Stone Thrower crew can hurl deadly projectiles into the heart of enemy formations. Even the heaviest infantry remains defenseless against the hail of large stones falling from the sky.
